Lost Boyz Joins After School Matters

The inspiration for After School Matters arose more than two decades ago from the desire of then-Chicago First Lady Maggie Daley and former Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs Commissioner Lois Weisberg to develop cultural activities for the city’s teenagers. Since 1991, ASM has had an impact on 200,000 teens. Here at Lost Boyz, we are ecstatic to join the many organizations in ASM who truly make a difference in the lives of Chicago Youth!

This summer, we will host 12 youth who will work as Sports Journalists under renowned journalist George Castle. George has covered sports on a multi-media platform for several decades, ranging from newspaper, magazine and web site articles to a syndicated baseball radio show. He’s also authored four children’s sports books and has worked as a baseball and broadcast historian for museums.
