Well we all know about the fabulous Oprah Winfrey. One of her quotes “Turn your wounds into wisdom.”   She was born January 29, 1954 and she is 64 years of beauty. She was born in the rural town of Kosciusko, Mississippi. She is a well known host of her own program called The Oprah Winfrey. She is a well known and respected Billionaire who gives back.

 After a trouble adolescence in a small farming community she moved to Nashville to live with her father. She entered Tennessee State University in 1971 and began working in radio and television broadcasting in Nashville. Oprah Winfrey is a all around Jane of all trades; she is a philanthropist, television producer, talk show host, film actress (1954-). She is a well known host of her own internationally popular talk show from 1966 to 2011. The Oprah Winfrey Show, which aired for 25 seasons, from 1986 to 2011. That same year, Winfrey launched her own TV network, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

Oprah is and has be doing her thing. She continues to be a role model for many men and women. According to Forbes magazine, Oprah was the richest African American of the 20th century and the world’s only Black billionaire for three years running. She founded the Family for Better Lives foundation and also contributes to her alma mater, Tennessee State University.
